Dear Skokie residents,

 

I’m Minal Desai, and I’m honored to serve as your Village Clerk. With a strong background in banking, business development, and community service, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting Skokie and its residents.

In my previous roles, I’ve served as Vice President at Diamond Bank, was elected to the Skokie Park District Board in 2019, and had the privilege of being the first South Asian to serve on the Skokie Park District Board.

 

I’ve also been actively involved in various community organizations, including the Skokie Kiwanis Club, Skokie Chamber of Commerce, and several school committees, where I’ve worked to promote health, wellness, and education.

As your Village Clerk, I’m committed to continuing my service to our community. With your support in the April 2025 election, I can keep working to ensure that Skokie remains a welcoming and equitable place for all residents. My experience and passion for this community drive me every day, and I ask for your vote so that together, we can continue making a difference.
